Buyers Guide

We understand that buying a holiday home can be a once in a lifetime purchase, and one that you want to get right.

Buying a holiday home at Goulton Beck brings you into a small and friendly community of owners, with no subletting to third parties or rentals. With only 18 spacious plots and a gated entrance, the site is exclusive and highly sought after. We are licensed members of the British Holiday & Home Parks Association, the national organisation which represents holiday, residential and touring pitches across the UK, and we’ve been in the leisure industry for many years, so you know you’re in good hands.

We’ve developed this helpful buyers’ guide to explain the process, what’s involved, and answer any questions you may have. If there’s anything we’ve missed, just give us a call.

Step 1 – Choose your lodge

We have a number of pitches available at Goulton Beck, and our lodges come in a range of layouts and specifications, to suit all buyers.

Give us a call and we’ll arrange a time for you to come and visit the park to speak to a member of our friendly team who will be happy to show you around all the holiday homes and pitches available. We’ll help you decide what size and layout is best for you and what view you would prefer. If we don’t have a model on site to suit your specifications, we can help you choose a pitch and put together your perfect holiday home from scratch.

Be sure to come prepared with a list of requirements and questions so we can find the right holiday home for you.

Step 2 – How and what to pay

If you decide to purchase a holiday home at Goulton Beck, we’ll talk you through all the costs involved in buying and running your holiday home upfront so you know exactly what to expect before you make any firm commitments.

A 10% deposit will secure your holiday home, and you simply pay the balance when you’re ready to take ownership.

Step 3 – Protecting your holiday home

We purchase all our holiday homes from trusted manufacturers, all of whom offer warranties on their products.

All new holiday homes come with extensive warranty, provided by the manufacturers which differ slightly according to manufacturers. For example, ABI provide the following warranties on the holiday homes:

  • 3 year warranty on all parts and fittings
  • 5 year structural warranty
  • 10 year chassis warranty

We suggest that you also take out insurance on your holiday home, and can recommend trusted partner Leisuredays for specialist holiday home insurance.

Step 4 – Enjoy your new home from home

With all the technicalities out of the way, we’ll hand over the keys to your new holiday home and you can start making memories.
